A sense of comfort and ease

 

My surroundings are crucial to me. They help build my emotions and social relationships. I started my exhibition by focusing more solely on myself than on my connections with others. As I created more pieces, I realized that I wouldn't be who I am today without the people in my life. The theme of 'myself' faded and led to me wanting to paint my relationships with others. I wanted to show them how much I appreciate them, and hopefully, they feel how much I care for them. It's challenging to express my gratitude verbally, so I knew this was how I wanted to thank them.
